Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-95 in Wilmington Leaves Three Injured

WILMINGTON, DE – A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 95 northbound near Exit 6 occurred at 4:15 p.m. on October 10, resulting in three injuries.

According to the Delaware State Police, four vehicles were involved in the accident, which blocked two northbound lanes. Emergency services, including New Castle County Paramedics and the Delaware State Police, responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the injured individuals. Their conditions have not been disclosed.

Traffic was significantly delayed as emergency responders worked to clear the scene and investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities reported that towing services were requested to remove the vehicles involved.

The left lanes remained closed for approximately one hour while the investigation took place, leading to backups stretching over a mile. No fatalities were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes until normal traffic flow resumes.
