A 38-year-old Fall River man died in a motorcycle crash on Route 195 West in Providence late Thursday night.
According to the Rhode Island State Police, the incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. near Exit 1C (South Main Street). The Providence Fire Department responded to the scene.
Authorities said the motorcycle was exiting Route 195 West when the rider lost control and collided with a concrete barrier. The operator, Anthony J. Fiandaca, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing. Traffic in the area was impacted while emergency services conducted their response.
