Beloved Humble ISD athlete tragically dies in motorcycle accident on Wednesday.

HUMBLE, Texas – A 17-year-old Kingwood High School student was killed in a motorcycle accident on FM 1960 late Wednesday night.

Caleb Hill was riding his Honda motorcycle eastbound on FM 1960 when he collided with a westbound 2003 Ford Expedition driven by Jaylen Trujillo at the intersection with Woodland Hills Drive around 10 p.m., according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Hill was ejected from his motorcycle during the incident.

Preliminary reports indicate that an additional vehicle may have run over Hill while he was on the roadway after the collision. Despite immediate medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Trujillo remained at the site and showed no signs of intoxication; he was later released by authorities. The second vehicle involved has not yet been located.

Hill was a well-regarded student and athlete, described by his former soccer coach as tenacious and a leader both on and off the field. He had aspirations of pursuing engineering or trade school.

Funeral arrangements are pending, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
