Clinton Man Killed in Hinds County Motorcycle Crash
HINDS COUNTY, Miss. — A 28-year-old Clinton man died following a motorcycle accident on U.S. 49 Tuesday morning.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Jasen Nathaniel Rodgers was traveling northbound on U.S. 49 around 6:40 a.m. when a Ford F-150, driven by 48-year-old Avery Webster of Jackson, attempted to cross the highway from Pocahontas Road. The motorcycle collided with the driver’s side of the pickup truck.
Rodgers was pronounced dead at the scene; Webster did not sustain any injuries. The incident remains under investigation by MHP officials.
