Coroner identifies 63-year-old man killed in a motorcycle crash in Anderson County early Saturday morning.
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office reported the fatal accident occurred just before 4:15 a.m. on West Whitner Street.
The victim was identified as Thomas Edward White, who authorities say ran off the road and struck a telephone pole. White was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
According to the coroner, White’s cause of death was multiple traumatic injuries, and the manner of death has been ruled an accident.
The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
