Drivers are advised to avoid West Highway 9 in the Longs community following a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on October 14, 2023, around 7:29 p.m., according to Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR).
The incident occurred near West Highway 9 and Buck Creek Drive, blocking lanes for Little River-bound traffic.
Authorities reported that two individuals were transported to the hospital, including one with critical injuries.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the accident.
