A GoFundMe campaign has been established to support the family of 20-year-old Jared Brundage, who died in a motorcycle crash in Culpeper on April 23.
The fundraiser has raised over $6,600 as of Tuesday afternoon, aimed at covering unexpected funeral and burial expenses. According to the campaign, the family describes this as “an unimaginable tragic nightmare.”
Brundage, a 2023 graduate of Culpeper County High School, was remembered in his obituary as a daredevil with a “fearless spirit” who loved motorcycles, hunting, fishing, gaming, and working on trucks. He was noted for his generous nature and infectious smile.
The fatal incident took place on Colonel Jameson Boulevard. Authorities said Brundage lost control of his motorcycle and struck a curb before colliding with a light pole. He was pronounced dead at UVA Culpeper hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel in Culpeper. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brundage’s name to the Culpeper Football Association, P.O. Box 692, Culpeper, VA 22701.
