Driver dies in bridge crash in southeastern North Dakota, reports InForum.

LISBON, N.D. — A 46-year-old Lisbon man died Saturday night after his pickup crashed into a bridge railing in the Sheyenne River Valley.

The incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. on August 1, on Valley Road near 62nd Street Southeast, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Authorities reported the driver was operating a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado eastbound when he veered off the roadway before reaching the bridge, colliding with the concrete bridge railing. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained fatal injuries; his identity has not been released.

Weather conditions were clear and road conditions were dry at the time of the accident. The crash is under investigation, with the Ransom County Sheriff’s Office, Lisbon Fire Department, and First Medic Ambulance responding to the scene.
