KERN COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — A 21-year-old Earlimart man died in a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Stradley Avenue and Pond Road on Sunday night.
The incident occurred just before 9:15 p.m. when the motorcyclist, traveling west on Pond Road, collided with a Nissan vehicle that made a left turn into his path, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after the collision and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Authorities reported that the driver of the Nissan and her passenger sustained minor injuries and received medical aid at the site.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with no confirmed information on whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
No lane closures were reported following the incident, and vehicle tows were initiated as part of the response effort.
