Pettibone, N.D. – An 18-year-old woman died in a rollover crash on 44th Avenue Sunday at approximately 7:15 p.m.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the incident occurred two miles west of Pettibone when the driver, heading north, attempted to turn onto 21st Street Southeast. The vehicle lost control and rolled over, resulting in her death at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that the woman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
Emergency responders from the Kidder County Sheriff’s Office, Pettibone Fire Department, Steele Fire Department, and Steele Ambulance were on the scene to assist.
