GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KLKN) – A motorcycle accident at the intersection of Highway 30 and Webb Road resulted in one fatality on Thursday, October 14, at approximately 7:49 a.m.
A black Dodge pickup truck and a motorcycle were involved in the collision. The motorcycle’s 52-year-old male rider was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities confirmed.
The Nebraska State Patrol and Hall County Sheriff’s Department are conducting an ongoing reconstruction and investigation of the incident.
Authorities reported that the pickup was eastbound on Highway 30 before making a left turn onto Webb Road, where it collided with the motorcycle.
Preliminary findings suggest that the motorcycle’s speed may have been a significant factor in the crash. No charges are currently pending against the pickup driver.
The identities of both drivers are being withheld at this time.
