A Fordland man died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 65 in Hickory County on Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened at 12:54 p.m. on August 6 in Cross Timbers, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Authorities said a northbound 2011 Chevrolet Impala left the roadway, struck a culvert, became airborne, and then crashed into a power pole and a tree.
The 32-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:55 p.m. by the Hickory County Coroner. He was reportedly wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The Chevrolet Impala was destroyed and towed by Stauffer Towing and Recovery of Urbana.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the incident further.
