A 16-year-old boy from Fulton died early Sunday morning following a side-by-side crash in Callaway County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the incident occurred at approximately 2:17 a.m. on Beaver Spur at Chapel Drive.
Authorities reported that the Polaris side-by-side was traveling north when it skidded off the roadway, overturned, and ejected the passenger. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:11 a.m. and was not wearing a safety device.
The driver’s identity was not included in the crash report. The vehicle was deemed totaled and was towed from the scene.
This incident marks the fourth fatality for Troop F in October and the 53rd for the year.
