Motorcycle Collision with Bucket Truck Claims Life in Hopkinsville
A motorcycle and utility bucket truck collided near Means Avenue and North Virginia Street on Tuesday at 11:55 a.m., resulting in one fatality.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, first responders arrived on the scene within two minutes. Joe Taylor, 55, of Hopkinsville, was riding the motorcycle when he reportedly collided with the bucket truck, leading to his ejection from the vehicle.
He was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center while CPR was in progress. However, Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel confirmed that Taylor was pronounced dead in the emergency room. The incident is under investigation by the Hopkinsville Police Department.
