Jamesville Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash in LaFayette
A Jamesville man died following a motorcycle accident in LaFayette, Onondaga County, on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the New York State Police, troopers responded to a report of a crash on Coye Road at about 4:30 p.m. A preliminary investigation revealed that 42-year-old Christopher Carlson was operating a black 2023 Can-Am three-wheeled motorcycle when he lost control. The vehicle departed the roadway, striking a culvert and a rock retaining wall.
Carlson was transported to Upstate University Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
