KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A Kalamazoo man died following a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Gull Road Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The collision occurred at 4 p.m. between Elkerton Avenue and Colgrove Avenue.
According to the Township of Kalamazoo Police Department, a 32-year-old motorcyclist collided with a vehicle making a left turn onto Elkerton Avenue.
The identity of the motorcyclist is being withheld pending notification of family, authorities said.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement, according to police.
No other injuries were reported, and there were no additional vehicles involved in the crash.
Emergency responders closed off the area for investigation, which is ongoing, and tows were arranged for the vehicles involved.
