LAS VEGAS — A 32-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on I-11 Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.
The collision occurred on August 27, 2026, at approximately 12:45 p.m. on northbound I-11, just north of the Horizon Drive northbound on-ramp.
Authorities identified the victim as Shane Link Marshall. He was riding a 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the far-left travel lane when he veered right, crossing multiple lanes of traffic.
The motorcycle entered the outside shoulder and struck a concrete barrier, causing it to overturn and eject Marshall, who suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
Emergency responders pronounced Marshall dead at the scene. An investigation is ongoing by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol’s Major Incident Reconstruction Team.
No additional injuries were reported, and lane closures were implemented during the investigation.
