LSU Student Among Two Fatalities in Campus Crash.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Two individuals, including an LSU student, were killed in a crash on the LSU campus Wednesday night, February 26.

The incident occurred around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Nicholson Drive and South Quad Drive, involving a Honda Accord and a motorcycle. Both vehicles ignited upon impact, according to LSU Police.

Authorities reported the motorcyclist as 23-year-old Bohdi Linton. The driver of the Honda Accord was identified as Dillon Reidenauer, a freshman member of the LSU track and field team.

Witnesses noted that the Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Nicholson Drive when it attempted a left turn onto South Quad Drive, colliding with the motorcycle heading northbound.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, and both vehicles were towed from the area. The crash site experienced lane closures while the investigation continued.

LSU Athletics expressed their condolences, highlighting Reidenauer’s impact on the community. The department offered support resources for students affected by the tragedy.
