MESA, AZ — A Mesa police motorcycle officer suffered injuries in a crash involving another vehicle on Monday night.
According to authorities, the incident occurred just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Loop 202 and State Route 24. The officer was transported to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
As of Tuesday, officials reported the officer is recovering and in good spirits. Impairment is not considered a factor in the crash.
Details regarding the other vehicle or any additional occupants have not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
