HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A 49-year-old man from Missouri was killed in a two-vehicle accident on US-301 on May 18, 2026, at 5:20 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was riding a Honda motorcycle northbound on US-301 when a Nissan Murano, driven by a 22-year-old woman from Webster, turned left from a private driveway, colliding with the motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved as the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
