Motorcycle and minivan collide in West Allis, resulting in one hospitalization.

BREAKING NEWS: Motorcyclist Injured in West Allis Crash

WEST ALLIS, Wis. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a collision with a minivan Wednesday night, July 29, near 108th Street and Dakota Avenue.

According to the West Allis Police Department, the crash occurred around 8:50 p.m. The motorcycle, traveling south on 108th Street, collided with the minivan as it was turning west into a shopping center.

Authorities stated that preliminary investigations suggest the minivan turned in front of the motorcycle, resulting in the accident. The motorcyclist’s condition is currently unknown.

Emergency medical services transported the injured motorcyclist to a local hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The incident prompted the temporary closure of the roadway as officers conducted an investigation. The WEST ALLIS POLICE DEPARTMENT continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
