Motorcyclist Dies After Collision with Cow in St. David, Arizona
ST. DAVID, Ariz. – A motorcycle rider was killed following a collision with a cow on Sibyl Road near Benson on Saturday afternoon.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m., prompting response from the COCHISE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE and BENSON FIRE AND EMS. Emergency crews arrived to find the motorcycle severely damaged after the rider struck the cow, which was on the road.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased rider. The entire stretch of Sibyl Road, from the interstate exit to its southern end, was closed for over four hours while investigators examined the scene.
