PEARL, Miss. (WLBT) – A motorcycle crash involving a pickup truck resulted in one fatality on U.S. Highway 80 Saturday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:28 p.m. at the intersection of Pirates Cove, according to the Pearl Police Department.
Emergency responders, including the Pearl Fire Department and Pafford Emergency Medical Services, were dispatched to the scene.
Rankin County Coroner David Ruth confirmed the death, noting the victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The highway was partially closed to facilitate the investigation and cleanup following the incident; details on towing services have not yet been provided.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash circumstances.
