Motorcycle Collision on State Route 507 Injures One, Causes Traffic Disruption
McKenna, WA — A motorcycle crash involving two cars on State Route 507 resulted in one injury and blocked the roadway for approximately one hour on Friday evening.
The accident occurred at 5:12 p.m. near 336th Street, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP). A motorcycle traveling northbound collided with the rear of a Chevrolet Camaro, prompting the Camaro to rear-end a Hyundai Sonata ahead.
Emergency response teams were dispatched, and the motorcyclist sustained injuries requiring transport to Tacoma General Hospital. Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was also issued a speeding citation.
The crash effectively closed the roadway for 51 minutes as crews cleared the scene.
Further investigation is ongoing, and no additional injuries were reported.
