AURORA | A motorcycle rider died early Thursday after losing control and crashing into a curb at an intersection in southeast Aurora.
According to the AURORA POLICE, officers responded to the crash at approximately 2:45 a.m. at South Gun Club Road and East Louisiana Parkway.
Authorities said the adult male rider was traveling south on Gun Club Road when he lost control, slid across the roadway, and struck a curb. The rider, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
The identity of the rider will be released later by coroner officials.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, police stated.
