Lisbon Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 61-Year-Old Rider
LISBON—A motorcycle accident on State Route 45 claimed the life of 61-year-old Glenn R. Kennedy on Sunday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).
The crash occurred just before 1 p.m. when Kennedy was traveling southbound. Authorities reported that a northbound driver attempted to make a left turn onto Osbourne Road, striking Kennedy’s motorcycle.
Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan Altima involved in the incident sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
OSHP received assistance from law enforcement agencies from Columbiana County, Wellsville, Highlandtown, and West Point. The accident remains under investigation, with officials stating that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors.
