Motorcyclist Dies in Highway 61 Crash in Cottage Grove
COTTAGE GROVE, MN — A 28-year-old motorcyclist died after a collision on Highway 61 Sunday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Jeremiah Thomas Miller Hurley of Hastings was riding a motorcycle northwest on Highway 61 when he separated from the vehicle and struck a Honda Passport traveling south on Highway 95. The driver of the Honda, a 62-year-old man from Woodbury, was unharmed.
Authorities reported that Highway 95 between 110th Street South and Highway 61 was closed in both directions for several hours while emergency responders, including the Minnesota State Patrol, managed the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
