Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following crash in Camden County.

One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in Camden County on Thursday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the accident occurred at 3:55 p.m. at the intersection of Oakbend Road and Irish Drive.

A Kawasaki motorcycle traveling westbound collided with a northbound 1990 Chevrolet Silverado, which made a left turn into the motorcycle’s path.

The 23-year-old motorcyclist from Potosi sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to University Hospital by MU Air.

MSHP indicated both drivers’ visibility was obstructed by a hillcrest at the time of the incident.

Authorities said an investigation into the accident is ongoing. Lane closures were implemented during the response and cleanup.
