Malibu, CA (October 11, 2026) – A motorcyclist sustained major injuries in an accident near a rescue training exercise in Malibu on Saturday.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m., about 100 yards from where Malibu Search and Rescue and the Los Angeles County Fire Department were conducting a joint training exercise focused on vehicle recovery operations.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene. The injured rider was provided medical care before being airlifted to a local trauma center by a Los Angeles County Fire Department helicopter.
