SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Two people died in a two-vehicle crash northeast of Bridgewater, SD, on October 26.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. on I-90 when a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, traveling westbound, was struck from behind by a Volvo semi-truck, also heading west.
The motorcycle’s driver, a 53-year-old man from Pacolet, South Carolina, and his passenger, a 47-year-old woman from Lewiston, Maine, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Names of the deceased have not been released pending family notification.
