One person was killed and another seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Brick Township late Wednesday night.
The collision occurred on Mantoloking Road at approximately 10:45 p.m. Authorities reported that emergency responders applied a tourniquet to the motorcyclist while requesting advanced life support.
The injured victim was transported to Ocean Medical Center’s Jersey Shore Trauma Center for treatment. A subsequent dispatch update at 10:59 p.m. confirmed one fatality at the scene and another victim being taken to the trauma center.
The circumstances surrounding the crash have not been released, and the incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
