ENGLEWOOD, Ohio (WKEF) — A motorcycle accident on State Route 726 resulted in the death of a 39-year-old man on July 4.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:16 p.m. in Washington Township.
A Honda Silverwing motorcycle, operated by Douglas Miller, was traveling north when it lost control, veering off the right side of the road.
Authorities reported that Miller crashed into a ditch before striking a utility pole.
He was transported to a local hospital in Richmond, Indiana, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Dayton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
