One Person Killed in Motorcycle Crash on 15 Freeway in Barstow
Barstow, CA – A motorcyclist died in a collision on the southbound 15 Freeway near State Route 247 on July 1, 2026, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred around 6:32 p.m. and involved a motorcycle and another vehicle. Barstow firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene, where the rider was pronounced dead. The coroner’s office has been notified.
As a result of the crash, the Nos. 2, 3, and slow lanes were closed, causing traffic delays. Lanes reopened at 7:35 p.m. The incident is under investigation by authorities.
