Motorcyclist Dies in I-15 Collision Near Draper, Utah
DRAPER, Utah, Oct. 3, 2026 — A motorcyclist died Saturday afternoon following a collision with an SUV on northbound Interstate 15 at approximately 1:23 p.m.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the accident occurred near 10800 South when a Dodge Journey slowed due to traffic. The motorcycle, which was following the SUV in the fourth lane, skidded into the back left of the Dodge and subsequently struck a Ford F-350 pickup in the third lane.
Authorities reported that the male motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. The occupants of the Dodge Journey and Ford F-350 were uninjured.
