FREMONT, CA — A motorcyclist died following a collision with a passenger vehicle Wednesday afternoon, September 23, 2026.
According to the Fremont Police Department, the incident occurred shortly before 1:40 p.m. at the intersection of Hastings and Keats streets. The motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Hastings when the collision happened with a vehicle making a left turn from Keats Street onto southbound Hastings.
Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was found unresponsive at the scene and later died at a nearby trauma center. The driver of the passenger vehicle was uninjured and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
The Fremont Police Traffic Unit is leading the investigation. There were no details on lane closures or tows at this time.
