Motorcyclist dies in crash on Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A motorcyclist was killed early Saturday morning in a collision with a pickup truck on Southern Boulevard, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred at approximately 5 a.m. in the 8100 block of Southern Boulevard, where the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at 5:06 a.m.

Authorities said a 2023 Suzuki GSXR-1000 was traveling westbound when a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado exited a parking lot and made a wide right turn across traffic.

Deputies reported the motorcycle struck the left rear of the pickup truck, ejecting the rider into the eastbound lanes. The Silverado came to a stop near the median.

The deceased motorcyclist was identified as Eury Abreu Herrera, 33, of West Palm Beach. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The driver of the pickup truck, 31-year-old Diosdel Alonso, was wearing a seat belt and sustained no injuries. Investigators noted that drugs and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division is conducting an investigation into the incident, with charges pending.
