KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A crash involving an electric motorcycle in Kansas City left the rider in critical condition Saturday night.
According to the Kansas City Police Department, emergency crews responded at 9:55 p.m. to the intersection of 19th and Broadway Blvd.
Investigators determined that a black Harley-Davidson Livewire was traveling north on Broadway when it collided with a white Toyota RAV4 heading west on 19th St.
Witnesses reported the Toyota entered the intersection from a stop sign. The impact ejected the motorcycle’s rider, who was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
As of Sunday morning, the rider remains in critical condition. No injuries were reported for the Toyota’s occupants.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing, focusing on potential impairment of the Toyota’s driver. No arrests have been made, and further details are pending.
