BRISTOL, R.I. (WJAR) — A motorcycle crash in Bristol injured one person on Monday afternoon.
Authorities said 66-year-old Frank Francis Jr. of Warwick was riding north on Hope Street when he collided with a vehicle.
The vehicle, driven by 76-year-old Susan Abilheira of Bristol, was making a turn into Colt Park when the accident occurred.
According to police, Francis was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained minor injuries.
Emergency responders transported him to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
The roadway was partially closed during the incident, and a motorcycle was towed from the scene.
The crash remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time.
