Motorcyclist Injured in Wednesday Crash, Reports Sterling Journal-Advocate.

A pickup and motorcycle collision in Sterling, Nebraska, left one man injured Wednesday morning.

According to Sterling Police Chief Tyson Kerr, the accident occurred at the intersection of Sidney Avenue and Broadway around 10:45 a.m. Motorcycle driver Donald McCallum, 71, of Lodgepole, was traveling west on Broadway when his bike struck a northbound Ford F150 pickup driven by Archie Kincaid, 59, of Sterling.

McCallum sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sterling Regional MedCenter. Kincaid was issued a citation for failing to comply with a red traffic signal.

The intersection was briefly controlled by law enforcement during the investigation, which remains ongoing.
