Delaware Township, PA (July 25, 2026) – A motorcycle crash involving an SUV at State Route 405 and State Route 44 resulted in one fatality and one injury on Saturday afternoon.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, 50-year-old Adam Erdly of Montgomery was traveling northbound on State Route 405 when the eastbound SUV entered the intersection without clearance.
Investigators reported that Erdly’s motorcycle collided with the SUV’s passenger-side tire. Erdly suffered severe injuries and was transported for medical evaluation, later being pronounced dead. The timeframe of his death has not been disclosed.
The SUV driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, while a passenger received on-scene treatment for suspected minor injuries.
Authorities have stated that the crash remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
