GRANBY, Conn. (WFSB) – A motorcycle crash claimed the life of a Tariffville man on Sunday in Granby, as confirmed by the Granby Police Department.
The incident occurred around 5:42 p.m. at the intersection of Granville Road (Route 189) and Peck Orchard Road. Mark Floryan, 69, was transported by Life Star to Hartford Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Another vehicle involved was operated by Adam Tkaczuk, 50, of Granby, who was not injured and remained at the scene.
Authorities from the North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad processed the crash site. Granville Road was closed during the investigation but has since reopened.
