Non-profit Supports Las Vegas Families Affected by Recent Motorcycle Crashes.

A non-profit organization is responding to a rise in fatal motorcycle crashes in Las Vegas.

Rider SOS is providing support to motorcycle riders and their families following recent tragedies.

According to LAS VEGAS METRO POLICE, there have been 36 fatal motorcycle and moped crashes in 2025, a nearly 10% increase from 2024.

Authorities reported five major motorcycle crashes in recent weeks, four of which resulted in fatalities.

Rider SOS founder Tawnya Rosenthal confirmed her organization is assisting the families affected by these incidents.

Rosenthal, whose husband died in a motorcycle crash nearly a decade ago, emphasized the need for awareness on the road.

She noted that many recent accidents involved cars turning in front of riders and urged motorists to be vigilant.

In addition to their support efforts, Rider SOS is hosting a toy drive for children this Christmas. Donations can be made at any Smoke King location or at the Legal Ride office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Saturday, Dec. 20.
