CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A motorcyclist died following a collision with a Chevrolet Impala on Independence Boulevard on March 26.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to the crash near the intersection with Sardis Road shortly before 8:30 p.m. According to authorities, the motorcyclist, identified as 34-year-old Adian Lynn Garcia, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Garcia succumbed to her injuries on March 31, CMPD confirmed. Investigators are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the incident.
