BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) — A 66-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash on I-94 near mile marker 298 on Wednesday at approximately 6 p.m.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the man lost control of his motorcycle, veered off the roadway, and collided with the median. He was not wearing a helmet and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
A 39-year-old female passenger, also without a helmet, sustained injuries and was transported for medical treatment.
Authorities confirmed that the incident remains under investigation.
