SHERIDAN, Colo. — Northbound Santa Fe to westbound Highway 285 is reopened following a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Wednesday morning, according to the Sheridan Police Department.
The incident took place at 6:08 a.m. when a motorcycle rear-ended an Xfinity work truck at the intersection of northbound Santa Fe and Highway 285. Authorities confirmed one fatality in the motorcycle.
While northbound and southbound Santa Fe remained accessible, several lane closures were implemented. Sheridan police advised drivers to avoid the area if possible.
The intersection was cleared and reopened at approximately 9:44 a.m. after just over three hours of disruption for crash cleanup and investigation.
