OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — One person is dead and another critically injured following a motorcycle accident during a funeral procession in NE Oklahoma City on Oct. 15, 2023.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, the non-law enforcement motorcycle escorting the procession collided with a car near NE 63rd and N. Air Depot Blvd. The motorcycle driver was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
A female passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The extent of injuries to the car’s driver has not been confirmed.
Authorities have closed lanes in the area as they conduct an investigation. No further details about the accident or the individuals involved have been released.
