TULSA, Okla. — A motorcycle crash near 61st Street and Memorial Drive on May 21 resulted in the death of an 18-year-old woman.
According to Tulsa Police, the motorcyclist, identified as Sidney Fuller, sustained serious injuries including a broken femur and multiple fractures after being struck by a vehicle making a U-turn. The incident occurred on May 13, and Fuller was initially hospitalized in critical condition.
Authorities reported that Fuller succumbed to her injuries eight days later. The case has been forwarded to the District Attorney to evaluate potential charges against the driver, but no arrests have been made at this time.
Emergency services treated Fuller at the scene before transporting her to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Witnesses indicated that the accident occurred when the driver attempted to turn unexpectedly from the right lane. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
