MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A motorcycle crash occurred on Highway 17 Bypass near 38th Avenue North on Friday night, sending one person to the hospital.
Myrtle Beach Police responded to the incident around 8:51 p.m. Authorities reported that the motorcycle fell on its side, leading to the crash.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital, with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
As of the latest update, one lane on Highway 17 Bypass remains blocked, although heavy traffic was reported earlier. The motorcycle was subsequently towed from the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
