ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) – A crash early Sunday morning resulted in one fatality and left another person in critical condition.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. near E. Cottonwood Road and Lariat Trail.
A Chevrolet Camaro traveling westbound made an unsafe left U-turn, colliding with a Harley Davidson motorcycle that was following behind in the same lane.
The driver of the Camaro sustained minor injuries, while the motorcycle driver was transported to Odessa Medical Center, where they are in critical condition.
The motorcycle’s passenger, identified as 26-year-old Harris Lane, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities stated that the incident is still under investigation, and further details will be released as they become available.
