KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Two crashes on the Parvin Road exit of Interstate 435 have resulted in lane reductions as of 2:41 p.m. today.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the first incident involved a single motorcycle and rider, who was transported to a local hospital by Kansas City Fire Department ambulance.
While leaving the scene, the ambulance was struck by an SUV, injuring two ambulance personnel, who were also taken to the hospital, along with the motorcycle rider. Occupants of the SUV declined medical treatment.
Authorities reported that the roadway has been narrowed to one lane as the investigation continues.
